Record books, journals, patents, catalogs, advertisements, and photographs concerning Shaker cloaks and hats, spinning, weaving, and other textile related activities. Volumes from Mount Lebanon, N.Y. include records of spinning, weaving and sewing, 1823; notebook on the manufacture of cloaks, ca. 1890; tailors' journals, 1838-1854; and a hatter's journal, 1842-1866. Other records concern wool and fleece used, 1849-1866; dye runs, 1867-1892; and cloaks shipped, 1888-1928.
